Once you have purchased a camera, lenses, tripod, and other needs for your photography, your only need now is education.
I see to many photographers endlessly spending money upgrading their equipment ever time a new camera comes out.
My most successful image that I have ever produced was with a Fuji S2 camera back in 2004, which is many generations ago in the digital camera age.
That camera could still produce an award winning image today, so what is the need for a newer camera.
Well I did eventually upgrade to a Nikon D7000 because of a new feature like live view, but I haven’t had a need to upgrade to another camera in 6 years.
If you have some extra money available to invest in your photography, you are far better off spending it on educating yourself on making images, rather than on more equipment that won’t give you a clue on how to make better images.
