One of the highlights for me each year is being asked to speak at many photo conferences. Any time you get hundreds of photographers together for a weekend, it's going to be a fun time. As I am getting set up for my presentation at the Chicago Area Photo School Bi-Annual Conference, people are coming in early to get a good seat.
I have mentioned in the past that photographers spend many thousands of dollars on photo equipment, and very little, or none on education to become better photographers. Photo conferences are a great place to learn, as all conferences have many speakers covering diverse styles of photography. Also you get to talk to some of the reps from many manufacturers about their equipment. Here's the Tamron rep talking about the new 18-400 lens.
So the CAPS (Chicago Area Photo School) conference was last weekend, and my last program for 2017. Hope to see you at some of the programs I am speaking at for next year. They are well worth the cost of attending. Here are lots of photographers having lunch, visiting the trade show, and sharing learning experiences.
