Time to chill out now after an exciting, and awesome, sixth annual Macro Photo Conference. I am honored, humbled, and grateful, to all the attendees and speakers that came together to make this a great success.
We had attendees from 23 states and Canada. It is so exciting to see people come from all over the country to this program, and I had many attendees, and speakers, tell me that they had driven 8,10, and 12 hours to attend the conference, and many attendees, and speakers, endured long flights from the west coast, east coast, the deep south, and far away in Canada, so again, I am so very humbled when I hear these stories of photographers willing to travel long distances, and the expenses they paid to attend this conference.
Many thanks to my speakers, Les Saucier, Monica Royal, Lou and Todd Nettelhorst, Tom and Lisa Cuchara, Hazel Meredith, and Padma Inguva. They all did a great job on their presentation, and lots of great feedback from the attendees. Also thanks to my wife Sharon and good friends, Jeff Bernas, and Pat Kusnic, who provided help with running the conference.
We had three great years in the Cleveland area and a big shout out to the Cleveland Photographic Society for always promoting my workshops, and the macro conferences, and also thanks to all the clubs in nearby states that also promoted the conference.
Next year the Macro Photo Conference will be moving to Spartanburg, South Carolina. It will be held at a beautiful hotel, the Spartanburg Marriott. The dates will be October 24th, and 25th. Attendees can fly into the Greenville, SC, airport. Cost will stay the same, $199. Speakers and sign up will be announced in December.
