Jackie has been photographing the natural world, with an emphasis on flowers, since the age 16. It wasn't until much later, however, that her photography grew when she was influenced by Nancy Rotenberg's philosophy and imagery. She began to see things that she wasn't focusing on, and that's when her images started to "sing." Jackie is at home in the field shooting wildflowers, in botanical gardens, home gardens, and in her home. Jackie has received international acclaim for her images and teaches individual and group workshops. She was named Competitor of the Year (2017) by the Jacksonville Professional Photographers Guild and in the Top Ten Photographers for 2017.
